Rogers State Theatre Department Introduces 2020-2021 Season

CLAREMORE, Sept. 29, 2020 -The virtual stage is all the rage right now, and The Rogers State University Theatre Program is doing just that for their 2020-2021 Season. While all the plays will be available virtually, one play will be strategically staged in five different locations throughout the RSU campus.

The first production The Trump Card by Mike Daisey, is a monologue play performed by Quinn Blakely and produced by Dr. David Blakely. The Trump Card is an exploration of Trump's life story, influences, and his ascent to political power. It is played out in the view of his adversaries. *Explicit language*

The second production is Uncle Xander’s Silicon Clubhouse by Jack Allen. The story details the fantastical life within a dystopian society that is technologically advanced. Uncle Xander is a brilliant technological pioneer that is indulged with solving all problems through technology. The play displays the difficulties and harsh realities that the evolving world brings.

The third production is Love Letters by A.L. Gurney. This production is a series of letters spoken by two performers and will include five different stages around RSU Claremore campus on Valentine’s Day.

For the 2020-2021 season, all admissions will be free of charge.

The Trump Card - Oct. 8-10, 2020 at 7:07 p.m.

Uncle Xander’s Silicon Clubhouse - Nov. 5-7, 2020 at 7:07 p.m.

Love Letters - Feb. 14, 2021 at 7:07 p.m.
