Taylor, Foster, Mallett, Downs, Ramsey, & Russell is pleased to announce that Colton Grant Scott, a Claremore Sequoyah graduate, has joined the law firm as its newest associate.
Scott, who was a member of the Rogers State University Honors Program and interned at the law firm during his RSU years, recently graduated from the University of Tulsa. He passed the Oklahoma Bar Exam on his first attempt and is now looking forward to a career practicing law here in Claremore.
“We are pleased to have someone like Colton join us,” said firm founder, Stratton Taylor. “Colton is a hard worker who is intelligent, ethical, and will be a great asset to us,” he added.
“I am excited about the opportunity to work in my hometown,” said Scott, “Through my internship, I had the opportunity to work on several cases already and even attended a jury trial, so I’ve had the chance to gain experience most young lawyers don’t.” Scott’s practice will primarily be in civil litigation, including personal injury, wrongful death, and business litigation.
“We see a very distinguished career coming for Colton and we are happy to get the chance to observe it firsthand,” said Taylor.
