A school bond for Claremore Public Schools in two propositions worth $41.4 million will be up for a vote on March 5, 2019.
The bond will not raise taxes, and is being geared toward a STEM facility, safety vestibules at the junior high and high school, improved gymnasiums and cafeterias across the district, general maintenance and repairs across the district and new school buses, among other capital improvement projects and technological upgrades.
However, school employees cannot use school resources or work on contract time to promote the passage of the school bond.
Information about the bond will be made available on the Claremore Public Schools website in January.
School district representatives say anyone who is interested in volunteering to campaign for the passage of the school bond can contact Jamie Brace at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Clubs and groups that are interested in more information can schedule to have Superintendent Bryan Frazier attend a meeting to discuss the bond and answer questions. To schedule such an event call 918-923-4200.
