Tulsa Botanic Garden guru shares “The Latest Dirt”

Active with the Tulsa Botanic Garden since 2011, Lori Hutson is bringing her knowledge and insight to Claremore.

Hutson, the Communications and Outreach Director at Tulsa Botanic Gardens will share about the garden's development, upcoming programs and events, and some of the staff's favorite plants, in her presentation of "The Latest Dirt."

Hutson is the featured guest speaker at the Monday, Sept. 16, presentation hosted by the Master Gardeners Association of Rogers County and OSU Extension of Rogers County. The presentation will be at the Rogers County building (416 S. Brady St.)

Prior to joining the Tulsa Botanic Garden team, Hutson worked at Houston Arboretum & Nature Center and interned at the Chicago Botanic Garden.

According to their site, "The mission of the Tulsa Botanic Garden is to promote the beauty and importance of plants and nature to create a more sustainable and harmonious world."

Founded in 1999, the Tulsa Botanic Garden is a non-profit organization supported by donations.
