Will Rogers will be mentioned again on the Jeopardy, Monday, June 10.
Researchers have notified the Will Rogers Memorial Museum that Will will be included in the WHO ARE THEY? Category in the Double Jeopardy! round.
Jeopardy! airs on Tulsa Channel 8 weekdays at 4:30 p.m.
Will has been he subject of questions several times in the past.
The show airs a few days after the June 6, 1939 anniversary of the unveiling of the Jo Davidson statue of Will Rogers in the U.S. Capitol outside the House Chamber. Adjacent to his statue is most often the place where television news people stop lawmakers as they leave the House after important votes.
Will’s wife, Betty, his children, Will Jr., Mary and Jimmy were at the unveiling along with his sister, Sallie Rogers McSpadden and her daughter, Paula., later Paula Love. Mrs. Love was the first Will Rogers Memorial Museum executive director and responsible for preparing the Museum for opening to the public. The statue is a replica of the one which is located in the rotunda of the Claremore Museum.
