The annual Sequoyah Elementary Food Drive benefitting the Good Samaritan Ministry was once again a huge success! This year, more than 2,500 food food items were collected during a 5-day donation period. The canned food drive is a service project headed by Sequoyah Elementary 5th grade student leaders who visited the GSM and learned more about their needs. These students then shared the information with each elementary classroom in grades Pre-K through 5th. The generosity of all the elementary students and their families is greatly appreciated by the Good Samaritan Ministry who serve families in need throughout Rogers County.
