Officers with Claremore Police Department learned that a driver had been involved in three separate accidents at three locations within the city.
Around 8:10 a.m., CPD responded to the area of Wortman and Eddy for a possible road rage incident.
On scene, officers learned that Bailey Losh, 19, had crashed her vehicle into a telephone pole.
“While investigating, officers learned Losh had been involved in a hit-and-run accident at JM Davis and Will Rogers Blvd., causing damage to the victim’s vehicle. The other party involved in that accident followed Losh to the Wortman and Eddy location,” according to CPD. “[the alleged victim] claimed she got out of her vehicle and attempted to speak to Losh. She informed officers that Losh drove her vehicle directly at her, and collided with her causing her to be thrown to the ground. The victim claimed to have possible broken ribs, internal injuries and an injured ankle.”
CPD records state that instead of remaining and giving aid to the alleged victim, Losh drove away from this location “and crashed her vehicle a block east at the 1300 block of west Eddy.”
Both Losh and passenger, Sheridan Miller, 19, were arrested on scene.
In Miller’s case, officers report that she had slow, slurred speech and diminished motor skills. Officers say Miller “admitted to snorting an unknown substance.” A search of Miller’s purse yielded a “crushed substance in a bag” that Miller said she believed was Xanax. Officers located multiple cold beers in the vehicle as well.
Miller was arrested on charges of being in possession of alcohol as an underage person, possession of a controlled dangerous substance and public intoxication.
Losh was arrested on two felony counts of failure to stop/remain on the scene of an accident involving injury, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and drugs, possession of alcohol by underage person and a felony count of assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
