Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary Unit 44 of Claremore Commander Millie Moseley get’s ready to send Christmas cards to every veteran in all seven Veteran Center in Okla.

The members of the Auxiliary have signed Christmas cards throughout the year so they have cards ready to send to each veteran. It is an all year project for the members but one of the most gratifying.

The members have taken on the project for several years and hope to continue many more.

This year, the members sent 827 cards, being down from past years which has been as many as 1,300.

At the January meeting cards will begin being passed out and members will start signing for Christmas 2022.

Ms. Moseley said there are so many veterans that have non one left to let them know they are thought about at Christmas and this is just one little thing we can do to show them they are thought of.
