Extended hours at MoH

Claremore Museum of History will now be open to the public Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Green Eyes Coffee + Cafe nearly ready

Green Eyes Coffee (formerly Cappuccino Corner) closed their previous location on Feb. 28. They are putting the finishing touches on their new space and working to train new employees and say they will announce an opening date soon. The new location is 224 S. Brady in Claremore.

Jiu Jitsu on Main

Redcloud Antquo Brazilian Jiu Jitsu opened their new location on Claremore main street this month. Classes have officially started with day classes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday and evening class Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

Torch calories with suspension training

There's a new fitness experience in Claremore. Vaesaro Fitness has opened at 603 W. Will Rogers. The owners say, "We are a group fitness studio focusing on building strength, stability, and flexibility through suspension training and torching calories with high intensity interval training." Watch for more information about this new business in an upcoming edition of the Progress.

Long John Silver's is no more

Recently, hungry diners were surprised to find a closed sign on the doors of Long John Silver's/A&W of Claremore. The sign reads, "Store has been closed permanently. Thank you for your business."

While no additional information was available, the closing does follow a national trend. An online search for Long John Silver's shows numerous closings in Oklahoma and elsewhere in the country.
