Catoosa Annual Reunion Returns this summer!

Sunday June 13th at 1 p.m. at the Catoosa High School Dome (Cafeteria).

After missing last year’s event due to COVID, Catoosa’s Annual Reunion is back!

If you grew up in Catoosa, if you are (or were) a long-time resident, attended, graduated, or taught at Catoosa, you are invited to join friends and family at the Annual Catoosa Reunion. This year we will honor the 50th Reunion of the Class of 1970 and Class of 1971. These former graduates will be the honored guests at the event.

The Reunion is Sunday, June 13th from 1 – 4 p.m. at the Catoosa High School Dome located on the south side of the main High School building at 2000 S. Cherokee. Additionally, the Catoosa Historical Museum (located at 217 S. Cherokee) will open from 3:30 – 5 p.m. for anyone interested in viewing the special exhibit “Oklahoma’s Legendary Outlaws” on loan from the Oklahoma Historical Society.

“The Annual Catoosa Reunion, is more than a class reunion, it is a time for old friends to reunite – it is a homecoming for many of us. People of all ages, from 20 to 90 years old will attend,” stated Mrs. Beverly (McNabb) Kiger, CHS Class of 1957.

The reunion is expected to attract nearly 300 visitors, with guests coming from as far away as California.

“We have faculty and students attend each year, all are excited to see one another and reminisce about the “old days” and the recent growth Catoosa has experienced,” added Teresa McAfee O’Donnell, Class of 1984. “We would love to see more graduates and school staff from the 1970s, 80s and 90s.”

The Reunion Committee hopes to see all the regular attendees as well as many who have never attended. After COVID, the Reunion will be a great opportunity to reconnect with old friends.
