Mississippi crappie guides Brandon Fulgham (left) and Brad Chappell (right), took on the “Garland Challenge” at Oologah Lake on Monday, which called on them to employ a fishing technique never used on a particular body of water.

Mississippi crappie guides Brandon Fulgham (left) and Brad Chappell (right), took on the “Garland Challenge” at Oologah Lake on Monday, which called on them to employ a fishing technique never used on a particular body of water. The men used a “long-line trolling technique” and caught 12 Crappie, four white Bass and a catfish. The challenge is named after Bobby Garland, a fishing lure design pioneer.
