At the close of 2020, nearly 10 million Americans were unemployed due to the COVID-19 crisis. Today, key sectors essential to the Oklahoma economy are beginning to rehire those positions responsible for producing goods and resources needed to overcome the challenges brought on by COVID-19.

To aid our manufacturing partners in meeting their employment needs, the Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority (CIEDA) is hosting an open house-style hiring event to highlight the more than 100 available positions within the Claremore Industrial Park. On Friday, April 16, MST Manufacturing, Reading Truck Body, Pelco Structural, and other manufacturing partners will open their doors to accept job applications, with the possibility of same-day interviews. Open job positions include:

• Welders

• Safety Manager

• Quality Control

• Shipping/Receiving

• Manufacturing Maintenance Technicians

• Materials Handlers

• Machinists

• And many more

The facilities' open house events will run from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and be a come-and-go fashion, with no appointments required.
