The Claremore Christmas Parade Committee has a few changes in store this year for Claremore’s largest parade.

“An Oklahoma! Christmas” is this year’s theme to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Oklahoma!”.

This year’s Christmas will now take place on Friday, December 7, 2018 and will start at 7:00 pm.

The parade route will also change, with the parade starting at First Baptist Church-Claremore and will head west on Will Rogers Blvd., ending at West Bend Winterland.

“We are excited about these changes and hope they provide the opportunity for more people to participate in this great tradition,” said Barby Myers, President and CEO of the Claremore Area Chamber of Commerce.

Applications will soon be available at the Claremore Chamber of Commerce or online at www.claremore.org.

This year’s parade is hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, Reveille Rotary, Claremore Rotary, and MoreClaremore.com.
