A 37-year old Claremore man was injured in a two vehicle collision in Rogers County.
According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol the incident took place Monday, at 3:09 p.m. on the Will Rogers Turnpike, approximately one mile east of Catoosa.
OHP said a Claremore man was driving a 2012 Freightliner Springer van and a 48-year old California woman was driving a 2020 Kenworth. Both drivers were traveling eastbound on the turnpike. The second driver, the Kenworth, slowed due to traffic and was hit by the Freightliner.
The driver of the Freightliner was pinned in the vehicle for approximately one hour and 15 minutes.
He was transported by Air Evac to a Tulsa hospital, where he was admitted in stable condition.
OHP said the other driver was not injured.
