An item that sparked community input was pulled from the Claremore City Council agenda minutes after the meeting started Monday night.
Shortly after the meeting was called to order Monday night, Mayor Bill Flanagan announced an item was being pulled from the agenda.
The "discussion and vote to approve/reject cost sharing and reimbursement agreement between the city of Claremore, Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority and Tulsa L. Dev., LLC to facilitate the construction of certain public roadway improvements," prompted a handful of community members to sign up to speak.
Because the item was removed from the agenda no details were given but, Flanagan said, the item will be placed back on the agenda at the next council meeting, in two weeks.
