County crews have been making needed repairs to county roads out in the summer heat.
In District 1, crews are repaving seven miles of roads including 450 Rd and 4170 Rd North of Claremore off of Highway 88.
“This is a busy road that really needed it,” Commissioner Dan Delozier said.
In District 2, crews are repaving 177th St. in the Owasso area between 96th and 106th streets. Next week they will repave 193rd St in the Stone Canyon area from the new water tower to 76th St.
District 3 is focusing on filling potholes, cleaning ditches and mowing until full funding returns, Commissioner Ron Burrows said.
The dip in funding delayed many projects, Delozier said, “but we’re getting back on track.”
