More than 1,000 comments were made within the first 15 hours of Rocklahoma sharing a major change to the Labor Day weekend lineup.
The three-day music festival announced this week that Saturday headliner Limp Bizkit would not be taking the stage.
“We are bummed to announce that Limp Bizkit has decided to cancel their September and October festival performances including Rocklahoma,” organizers shared. “We are working to find a replacement and will send out a fully updated lineup with set times as soon as we have more information.”
The band, who rocked Lollapalooza earlier this summer, said they were canceling out of an “abundance of caution and safety of the band, crew, and most of all, fans.”
But it hasn’t been all bad news for ticket-holders. Earlier in the month, in an effort to quell online confusion, the festival shared: “We spoke with Slipknot, and they’re still going to rock out at Rocklahoma. Join us in sending Corey Taylor all the healing vibes from Pryor.”
