Indian Health Service (IHS), the City of Claremore, Rogers County Emergency Management, Claremore Police, Claremore Fire, and OSDH District 4 County Health Departments are partnering together to host a large-scale vaccination clinic on Wednesday, April 14th, 2021 at Claremore Expo Center Hall, located at 400 Veterans Pkwy in Claremore.
This vaccine clinic will be open to all those currently eligible for the vaccine (Phase 1, 2, 3 and 4).
This partnership will give an opportunity to approximately 5,000 Oklahomans to receive their prime or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The state vaccine scheduling portal (vaccinate.oklahoma.gov) will have a wide range of appointment times on April 14th to choose from between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Appointments are required.
“Not only does this event allow us to rapidly administer a mass number of vaccines to those needing it most in our community, this is also a prime example of the wonderful partnership we have with IHS and the City of Claremore,” said James Thompson, Regional Director for District 4 County Health Departments.
The Claremore Expo Center has graciously donated the space for this event.
Appointments for this clinic will be available for online scheduling starting Wednesday morning, April 7th.
