The Claremore Public Schools Foundation (CPSF) Grant Patrol delivered over $27,000 in grants to educators at sites across the district on April 26. Teachers were surprised in their classrooms by CPSF board members bearing balloons and a donut party for their students.
CPSF awards grants for classroom materials, field trips, technology and much more! Recent grants awarded consisted of art materials, music equipment, science curriculum, physical education equipment, and transportation for all 5th grade students to attend Junior Achievement’s Biztown. The Foundation also awarded each elementary site $3,000 for science, technology, engineering, arts and technology (STEAM) activities.
CPSF Director Amy Evans said, “This is a very exciting time in the life of our school district. Through these grants, we try to provide opportunities to the children in Claremore Public Schools they would not otherwise have available.”
