An imitation handgun hidden in the spare tire compartment of a vehicle yielded felony charges for both the driver and passenger.
Rogers County court records show Ke Juan Marshall and Quantay White, both of Tulsa, are facing felony counts of possession of an imitation firearm in commission of a felony and after former felony conviction.
Records show the vehicle was stopped by Oklahoma Highway Patrol after the trooper noticed the expired tag.
The trooper also said he noticed a strong odor of marijuana.
"An imitation handgun was located in the trunk, hidden in the spare tire compartment," records show.
Additionally a plastic bag containing a "large quantity of marijuana" was located in the vehicle.
Both were arrested and booked into the Rogers County Jail.
