An opportunity to play golf while simultaneously supporting a local non-profit is available this Friday.
The annual Hope Harbor’s Tee Off Against Trauma Golf Scramble begins at 8 a.m. Friday at Heritage Hills Golf Course, 3140 Dave Wilber Ln.
C&C Roofing Repair Owner Jeremy Conn said they’ve been planing this event since February. C&C Roofing Repair is the Title Sponsor for the event.
Conn said there will be over 60 raffle items from over 40 businesses. Some items include gift cards from Buddy’s Grill, Hugo’s, Rib Crib, etc. Eight to 10 golf courses, including Battle Creek Golf Course and Sapulpa Golf Course, have also donated gifts to the raffle.
Mulligans and door prize tickets will be sold at the event. There will be prizes for first, second, third, fourth and last place; longest putt; and drive champion.
“It’s not just a golf tournament,” Conn said.
There is still time to register a team. Costs include $400 for a team of four or $120 per player. Prices include carts, breakfast, lunch, and snack tent. To register for the tournament go to www.hopeharborinc.org/golf.
