Claremore businesses served as the setting of multiple public intoxication arrests in Claremore this weekend.

Marcus Spurlock was arrested in a booth at Whataburger, according to Claremore Police Department records.

Someone at the business called officers to report a “white male passed out in a booth.”

On scene, officers report that they could smell alcohol coming from Spurlock and that it took several minutes to get him to wake up.

Officer reports note slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. Spurlock was arrested for public intoxication and transported to Rogers County Jail.

In the parking lot of Aspen Dental, officers found Charles Radford covered in mud and stumbling through the parking lot.

This is according to CPD records, which also say, “Radford leaned against a pole and almost fell before finally righting himself.”

CPD says Radford “told officers he drank about 12 strong beers.”

Radford was unsteady on his feet but officers assisted him in walking to the patrol car. He was transported to Rogers County Jail for public intoxication.

“An intoxicated person laying in the grass” at the Claremore Expo Center drew the attention of CPD.

On the grass between the Expo Center and the Recreation Center, officers made contact with William Dews.

“Dews just mumbled words trying to say his name. He was sitting up while speaking to me,” officers report. “Dews fell over laying down on the ground near what appeared to be his vomit.”

Records show Dews was also booked into Rogers County Jail for public intoxication.
