An inmate Cherokee County Jail is facing new felony charges in Rogers County after sending a threatening letter to a relative.

Rogers County District Court records show felony charges of transmitting a threatening letter have been filed against Joseph VanBuskirk, 60.

VanBuskirk reportedly sent a letter from inside the Cherokee county Jail, where he has been incarcerated since Jan. 15, to a relative saying "I'll kill you if I get out of here….I'll probably be out, if I do, run-run or I'll kill you."
