Friday, June 5

  • Musician’s Haven will be doing an in-person acoustic jam night that will also be broadcast on Facebook Live. Masks will be required. Everyone is welcome to bring an instrument and play along. Jam night starts at 7 p.m., located at 802 W Blue Starr Dr.
  • The Rogers County Master Gardeners’ Teaching Garden is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. for residents to enjoy the flowers, have a picnic and learn about new plants. The garden is located at Will Rogers Park in Claremore.

Saturday, June 6

  • The Rogers County Farmers Market offers a variety of select local produce vendors at Lynn Riggs/Gazebo Park every Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
  • Mt. Zion Baptist Church is holding a grab-and-go free lunch to the first 100 people to show up at their church Saturday, June 6 at 1p.m. The lunch includes a cheeseburger, chips and drink. Mt. Zion is located at 805 N. Oseuma Ave.

Monday, June 8

  • In need of a hot meal? Attend the free Friendship Feast, every Monday night from 5 - 6:30 p.m. at the First Christian Church Family Life Center, 200 E. 5th St.
  • TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly)  451 meets every Monday at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1310 N. Soiux, at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited. For more information contact Patricia Armbrister at 918-510-9010.

Thursday, June 11

  • Rogers County Free Medical Clinic is open to persons living in the county who are without insurance, such as Medicare, Medicaid, Sooner Care, or others, and who would otherwise not have access or be able to afford medical care. Clinics are held at the Rogers County Health Department starting at 6 p.m. and consultations and patients seen are on a first come, first served basis.
