In a picture posted on Facebook, snow is seen gushing from a sunken ceiling inside the casino.

A roof partially collapsed at the Cherokee Hard Rock Caisno in Catoosa under snow Tuesday morning, a Catoosa Fire Department official reported.

The Tulsa Fire Department reports that no one was trapped.

A spokesperson has released this statement: "A portion of the roof at Hard Rock Casino Tulsa has been damaged by the winter storm. Thanks to alert staff, we evacuated the area before the damage occurred, and there were no injuries to our guests or our staff, but we have closed the damaged portion of the facility. We are currently assessing the damage and will provide more details as they become available."

CEO of Cherokee Nation Businesses David Stewart released this statement: “The safety of our guests is a top priority for us, and we’re so glad that no one was hurt.”

A Catoosa Fire Department official reported at 10 a.m. Tuesday that another roof at the casino appeared close to collapse.
