Intoxication was the official cause of a non-injury collision in Claremore.

When Claremore Police Department’s Officer Holland arrived on scene, near the 3200 block of west Holly Road, he saw a Chevrolet truck that had driven off of the roadway and into a tree.

The officer reports making contact with the driver, Jeremy Rozell, 25.

“Rozell was obviously intoxicated and admitted to drinking five beers and six mixed drinks,” Holland reported. “Rozell had a difficult time exiting his vehicle due to his level of intoxication. He also had a difficult time walking and continuously stumbled, nearly falling several times.”

Rozell was arrested for operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
