Tired of chasing your siblings around the same boring back yard with the same boring NERF gun? Looking for a real challenge in your play fire fights?
Then it just might be time to check out the NERF Wars battlefield at the Claremore Conference Center.
The conference room, usually decorated like a banquet hall where parents go to be boring, has been completely overturned.
Cardboard walls and boxes litter the floor, broken up by pieces of furniture and old campaign signs, perfect for ducking in and out of cover while you fire round after round and your friends.
July 8, July 22 and August 12, everyone 7 and up are invited to play.
“We wanted to offer something active for kids to so,” said Director is Sales and Events Kendel Stocker. “Just to get them off the couch and out from behind video games and phones.”
Each day has a theme. Mondays was Star Wars. July 8 the theme is superheroes and villians. July 22 is Fortnite. And August 12 is elimination/ freeze tag.
Participants are encouraged to dress for the theme of the fight.
The cost is $35 per person or $50 for two players for four hours of play from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This cost includes ammo, eye wear and lunch.
