A discussion started two weeks ago will continue at tonight's Claremore City Council meeting.
At their last meeting, the council went into a one hour and 52 minute executive session on an agenda item calling for a performance evaluation of City Manager Jim Thomas. At the end of that session, they made no announcement other than their determination to table the discussion.
A second executive session is scheduled for tonight's meeting.
Tonight's meeting also includes seven agenda items pertaining to the Oologah waterline repair project and one agenda item pertaining to the First Street waterline replacement project.
The council is also slated to hold another executive session, this one for "the purpose of conferring on matters pertaining to economic development including the creation of a proposal to entice a business to remain or to locate within the City of Claremore."
The agenda also includes:
•A quarterly report from CIEDA
•Recognition of new Claremore Firefighter Cody Welch
•A presentation from Claremore Fire Chief Sean Douglas on hydrant flushing
•And a "Discussion of valves and Notice of Violation.
