Several ongoing projects will be discussed Monday night by the Claremore City Council.
First on the agenda, though, is the searing in of two new police officers with Claremore Police Department: Blake Hickey and Kevin Mora.
The council will be asked to vote on an $82,271.15 invoice for the ongoing Frederick Road project and a $28,036.16 change order for the Claremore Lake Park roadway and parking area improvement project.
The council will hear a quarterly update from Claremore Industrial and Economic Development Authority.
Additionally, they will be asked to vote on the renewal of lease agreements between the city of Claremore and DestinyLife Church, Claremore Elks Lodge, Rogers County Health Department, and the park land behind Reasor’s.
Also on the agenda is a vote to approve or reject a $142,066 bid for the Claremore Lake Shelter project.
City council will conclude the night with a review of possible candidates for the vacant ward 1 council seat; a discussion regarding the candidates; a vote to appoint a qualified person; a vote to call for a special election to fill the seat; and/or any other action deemed necessary to fill the vacant seat.
