A 79-year old Tulsa man was killed in a Will Rogers Turnpike wreck yesterday.

According to Oklahoma Highway Patrol, a single vehicle collision resulted in the death of the 79-year old driver and injuries to the 86-year old passenger on the turnpike, roughly four miles east of Claremore around 10:03 p.m.

OHP reports show the 2006 Honda Accord “departed roadway to the right for unknown reason, struck an embankment then rolled four to six times.  The driver exited the vehicle on foot walked approximately 120 feet, then collapsed presumably due to a medical condition.”
