Firefighters subdue the burning outbuilding at Reading Truck Equipment.

Around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, the Claremore Fire Department was called to a fire at Reading Truck Equipment on Highway 66.

When crews arrived an isolated outbuilding storing tools was fully engulfed in flames, said Battalion Chief Ken Willhoite.

“One firefighter had breathing difficulties and was transported in good condition,” Willhoite said.

Otherwise no injuries were reported.

A representative of Reading Truck Equipment said, “It’s a small fire that we don’t have any information about yet.”

The cause of the fire was unknown at the time of publishing.
