A 12.18 acre site that is the future home of an 84 unit senior housing addition has been annexed into the city of Claremore.
Currently, the property is just that—land. But this week Claremore City Council approved the petition to annex the property into city limits. The site is described as being "south of the South Pointe subdivision and west of Muskogee Avenue."
"This is a development we're very excited about," said interim Director of Planning and Development Kyle Clifton. "We're working closely with engineering department and development team."
Of the project, he said, "It's about 84 units total, 6 six-plexes and six eight-plexes. Right now it's earmarked as senior housing. It's currently land only, but it's moving along. The goal is to have them moving dirt by the end of February."
