A man was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the head and another was arrested for shooting with intent to kill.

Rogers County Sheriff’s Office said the incident started in Big Cabin, where the shooting occurred and that the suspect, Kevin Goins, fled the scene.

Law enforcement was urged to be on the lookout for Goins.

“Chelsea Police Department located the vehicle in Martin Oaks Trailer park, where Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, Big Cabin Police Department, Chelsea Police Department, and RCSO joined forces. Kevin was called out on the PA and was taken into custody without incident,” according to RCSO.

Reports show the victim was hospitalized with a gunshot wound and his condition was unknown as of Wednesday night.

Goins was booked into Craig County Jail.
