Suspect nabbed following 10 mail thefts

Larceny of mail packages from more than 10 residences led to the arrest of Blake Riley.

According to Rogers County Sheriff's Office records, the 35-year old was arrested on a felony count of knowingly concealing stolen property and petit larceny.

Thursday, RCSO's Cpl. Tucker executed a search warrant on a Blue Starr Drive residence, investigating the larceny of mail packages in Claremore and Collinsville.

Following the release of a surveillance video, Collinsville Police Department identified the suspect as Blake Riley.

"While serving the search warrant…I told Blake that he has been identified as the suspect in a mail theft case. Blake didn't deny anything," Cpl. Tucker reported. "Blake said he swiped packages with approximately 10 different addresses between Clare-more and Collinsville."

Tucker reported that, "I took a report from [a theft victim] in Collinsville. Her package that was stolen contained workout supplements from Bodybuilder.com. While serving the search warrant, Blake advised he still had the supplements. One container was in the vehicle used and one container was inside his residence."

Riley reportedly also had a small portable vacuum in his residence that he "admitted was stolen from a porch."

"Blake didn't remember exactly what house it came from because he hit so many," Tucker reported.

According to Rogers County Jail, bond is currently set at $10,000.
