1. A poker run is a fundraising event patterned after the card game of poker and is generally held by motorcyclists, however, any means of transportation can be used. During a poker run, instead of sitting down at a table and having the cards dealt by a dealer, the participants travel to several different locations. At each location attendees will draw a card for their poker hand. At the end of the run, participants will have 5 cards – the person with the highest hand and the person with the lowest hand win a prize.

2. There will also be a 50/50 drawing where tickets can be purchased. At the end of the event the winning ticket will be called and the ticket-holder wins half of the money raised.

3. The American Veterans Motorcycle Club (AVMC) has been holding poker runs for years to help different organizations raise money. This is the second year the AVMC and their affiliates have hosted a poker run to benefit Wreaths Across America. Anyone can attend this event.

1. This event will be raising funds for Wreaths Across America. The community will be placing wreaths on local Veterans graves at a ceremony on Dec 18th at 11 am at Woodlawn Cemetery.
