Rogers County Treasurer Jason Carini wants to remind Rogers County residents that a 30 day extension has been granted for those who have paid the first half of their property tax payments.

“Tax statements are mailed out each Fall. Taxpayers may pay the full amount by Dec. 31, or make two equal payments. The first half due by Dec. 31, and the second half due by March 31," said Carini, adding that there is no provision for taxes that are already delinquent.

“The Governor’s and Auditor’s letter permits county treasurers to give a 30 day extension for those taxpayers who have paid their first half. The second half of tax payers is now due by April 30."

Carini said, "Taxpayers have multiple ways to pay their taxes over the next few weeks. First, we have a drop box located in the Courthouse parking lot. Second, payments can be made on the website with an eCheck or credit/debit card. Third, we are still receiving and processing payments sent in the mail."

If taxpayers have any questions, they can call the Rogers County Treasurer's office at 918-923-4797
