Jeremy and Tabitha Plummer were arrested by Claremore Police Department and are facing felony child abuse charges.

This is all according to court records filed in the case that say officers were contacted by an area elementary school in reference to bruising seen on a student.

The child reportedly told officers that “mommy and daddy like to hit me” and that “her daddy kicked a table, which struck her in the chest causing a red mark on her chest,” according to police records.

During an interview Jeremy Plummer reportedly told officers he may have bumped the table, but he didn’t kick it and that [the juvenile] is a “disrespectful child and doesn’t mind very well.”

Officers report being told by the child that “there have been several times when mommy and daddy have caused bruises on her body, but she was told not to tell anyone.”

Bond is currently set at $150,000 each.
