The truck carrying the 60 ft Christmas Tree for the West Bend Winterland celebration pulled into Claremore at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday morning.

The 7,000 pound tree is a Norway Spruce from Dutchman Tree Farm in Manton, Michigan.

West Bend Winterland will launch with an official “Lighting of the Tree” on Nov. 26 at 6 p.m., entertainment provided by the RSU Choir and the Cherokee National Youth Choir; there will be food trucks, hot cocoa, skating and great photo ops for families.

“This is a wonderful way to spend the evening with family and friends to celebrate the holiday season,” said Tanya Andrews director of Visit Claremore.
