High Noon Cowboy Shoot Out hosted by J.M. Davis Arms and Historical Museum, 5th and Hwy 66, downtown Claremore at noon. The TriState reenactors dress in 1870’s style authentic clothing and use replica weapons with their street shoot out, jail break and bank robbery skits at the J.M. Davis Museum. Guest marshal is Jim Jefferies from Big Country radio. Free and open to the public. For information call 918-341-5707.

The 2019 Walk a Mile in Her Shoes walkathon hosted by Safenet Services ad the Claremore Museum of History will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Claremore Gazebo Park.

The Genealogy Volunteers are at the Will Rogers Library on Mondays from 3:00-7:00 p.m. to assist patrons researching their family history, including Native American research, and research to assist those wishing to apply for membership in the DAR. Also, see our volunteer, Barbra, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. to learn how to download and use a free genealogy program.

Join Virgil Lampton’s Adult Art Class from 6-8 p.m. each Monday at the First Presbyterian Church Life Center. For more information call 918-341-7867.

Join the Will Rogers Library for creativity, calm and conversation with the Adult Coloring Club! We'll provide coloring sheets and pencils, or you may bring your own. Come to the library and color yourself calm at 11 a.m. Adults 18+ only please.

Join the Will Rogers Library for story time. Baby story time, for children 0-3 and parents, features rhymes and songs from 9:30-10 a.m. Story time for ages 3-5 runs from 10-10:30 a.m.

The Claremore area Ministerial Alliance is hosting their Lenten Series Services every Wednesday at noon at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1310 Sious Ave. A $3 lunch follows the service. Everyone is welcome!

Claremore Public Schools Title VI meeting at 4 p.m. in the Enrollment Center, 101 W. 9th St. Any parent of guardian of Native American students is welcome to attend.

State of Education 2019 Luncheon hosted by the Claremore Area Chamber of Commerce will be 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Northeast Tech Claremore, 1901 N. Highway 88. Guest speakers include: CPS Superintendet Bryan Frazier, NTC Superintendent Fred Probis and RSU President Dr. Larry Rice. Tickets must be purchased in advance by calling the Chamber.

Thursday, April 11

Sequoyah JOM is meeting at 6 p.m. in the Federal Programs Office of Sequoyah Public Schools. Any parent oor guardian of Native American students is welcome to attend.

Rogers County Free Medical Clinic is open to persons living in the county who are without insurance, such as Medicare, Medicaid, Sooner Care, or others, and who would otherwise not have access or be able to afford medical care. Clinics are held at the Rogers County Health Department starting at 6 p.m. and consultations and patients seen are on a first come, first served basis.

Claremore FFA Calf Fry & Auction includes dinner, silent and live auctions. Tickets can be purchased from Claremore FFA or at the door. Dinner includes calf fries, brisket, baked potato, baked beans, roll, salad and homemade desserts from 6-8 p.m. at the Claremore Expo Center.
