Safenet Services Festival of Trees Auction & Gala, 6-8 p.m. at the Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs. Tickets are $50 and Golden Tickets will also be sold this year for $100 each. If your Golden Ticket is drawn, you can pick any item off of the live auction just before it begins. Tickets are limited to the first 50 and you must be present to win.

Boomarang Diner in downtown Claremore is hosting an All You Can Eat Pancakes special to benefit The Salvation Army Angel Tree from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. All you can eat pancakes are $4.99, served with coffee or tea. Add a sausage for $1. 100 percent of all proceeds got to the Salvation Army Angel Tree. Bring an unwrapped toy to be entered to win a Boomarang Gift Card.

The Rogers State University Jazz Ensemble will perform in the Will Rogers Auditorium on the Claremore campus at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Tuesday, December 4

Join the Will Rogers Library for creativity, calm and conversation with the Adult Coloring Club! We'll provide coloring sheets and pencils, or you may bring your own. Come to the library and color yourself calm at 11 a.m.! Adults 18+ only please.

Children 5-9 are invited to join the Junior Lego Club at the Will Rogers Library from 4-4:45 p.m. Kids can create of their own imagination or use library books for inspiration. Adult supervision is required.

Wednesday, December 5

Join the Will Rogers Library for story time. Baby story time, for children 0-3 and parents, features rhymes and songs from 9:30-10 a.m. Story time for ages 3-5 runs from 10-10:30 a.m.

The Chamber of Commerce Hot Topic Lunch, lead by local CPA Kevin Fortna, will discuss how to make the Qualified Business Income Deduction work for you. The lunch starts at 11:30 at Northeast Technology Center. You must RSVP to attend at claremore.org.

Thursday, December 6

Rogers County Free Medical Clinic is open to persons living in the county who are without insurance, such as Medicare, Medicaid, Sooner Care, or others, and who would otherwise not have access or be able to afford medical care. Clinics are held at the Rogers County Health Department starting at 6 p.m. and consultations and patients seen are on a first come, first served basis.

The Rogers State University Choir and Concert Band will perform in the Will Rogers Auditorium on the Claremore campus at 7 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

Free Movie Night! Come join us to see THE STAR, the story of the first Christmas, at St. Andrews UMC, west on Highway 20, at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6. Free popcorn and drinks provided.

The 2018 Claremore Christmas Parade is scheduled for Friday, December 7, beginning at 7 p.m. The parade will begin at First Baptist Church and head west on Will Rogers Boulevard to West Bend Winterland at the Claremore Expo Center. This year’s parade theme is “An Oklahoma! Christmas”

Benefit auction to cover the funeral expenses of baby J. J. Daughtry will be held Dec. 8 at 3 p.m. at Sequoyah Full Gospel Church (15101 E. 450 Rd., Claremore). Bring dessert or item to be auctioned.

The Rogers County Democratic Party’s yearly Christmas Party will take place at Pizza Hut at 6 p.m. The pizza will be paid for, so the party is asking attendees to bring a toy to donate to Toy’s for Tots.

The Oologah Christmas Parade will be Saturday, Dec. 15. Festivities will begin at 3 p.m. with pop up shops along Cooweescoowee Parkway leading into Oologah. The boy scouts will be handing out hot chocolate. The parade begins at 5:30.
