  • Arts and Crafts Fair hosted by Verdigris United Methodist Church. Get your Christmas shopping done early with locally made 3D engraving, woodworking, baked goods, jewelry and much more, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 8936 E 530 Rd. West of QT, across the tracks.

Monday, October 7

  • Elections for JOM Indian Education Committee members will be held Monday, Oct. 7 at Claremore schools, beginning at 6p.m. in the Enrollment Center, 101 W 11th St. All JOM parents and guardians are invited to attend. To serve, the person must be a parent or guardian of a JOM verified child. School employees or spouses cannot serve.
  • The Genealogy Volunteers are at the Will Rogers Library on Mondays from 3:00-7:00 p.m. to assist patrons researching their family history, including Native American research, and research to assist those wishing to apply for membership in the DAR. Also, see our volunteer, Barbra, from 3:00-5:00 p.m. to learn how to download and use a free genealogy program.
  • TopsOK451 meets every Monday at the Claremore Community Center at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited. For more information contact Patricia Armbrister at 918-510-9010.
