Tuesday, January 7

  • Join the Will Rogers Library for creativity, calm and conversation with the Adult Coloring Club! We'll provide coloring sheets and pencils, or you may bring your own. Come to the library and color yourself calm at 11 a.m. Adults 18+ only please.

Wednesday, January 8

  • Join the Will Rogers Library for story time. Baby story time, for children 0-3 and parents, features rhymes and songs from 9:30-10 a.m. Story time for ages 3-5 runs from 10-10:30 a.m.
  • TOPS 493 meets every Wednesday at 9 a.m. at the Rogers County Building near the Expo Center to take of pounds easily. For more information, call Ardith Louwerens at 918-341-6824.

  • Progressive bridge at the Claremore Senior Center, 1 to 4 p.m.

Thursday, January 9

  • Rogers County Free Medical Clinic is open to persons living in the county who are without insurance, such as Medicare, Medicaid, Sooner Care, or others, and who would otherwise not have access or be able to afford medical care. Clinics are held at the Rogers County Health Department starting at 6 p.m. and consultations and patients seen are on a first come, first served basis.
  • State of the Chamber Annual Meeting and Awards Luncheon, Thursday Jan 9, 11:30 - 1 p.m. at the Rogers State University Carolyn Taylor Center Ballroom.
  • Rogers County Rural Water District #2 Annual Landowner's Meeting will be held at 5p.m. January 9, 2020 at the RWD#2 Office, 17261 S 4170 Rd, Claremore.
  • The Power of Three Cancer Support Group is here! Our purpose is to help people both spiritually and emotionally that are dealing with cancer themselves, a family member dealing with cancer, a caregiver or even a friend. We meet the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 at Vessel Church, 1301 West Country Club Road, Claremore, we’re right by the movie theater. Saturday, January 11

  • As the weather begins to turn colder, taste buds start craving warm soups and stews. Enter: Souper Saturday. Back for the 5th year, Souper Saturday is a soup tasting and shopping event in the heart of Claremore. Participating stores will be cooking up their favorite soup or stew recipes and serving them to event attendees from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tasting kits are required. They are limited and on sale for $10. Cups are on sale now at the Claremore Main Street offices. The kits include a specialty mug and spoon, a bottle of water, a menu, a tasting wrist band and an opportunity to taste over 15 delicious soups and stews.
