Tuesday, June 18

  • Join the Will Rogers Library for creativity, calm and conversation with the Adult Coloring Club! We'll provide coloring sheets and pencils, or you may bring your own. Come to the library and color yourself calm at 11 a.m. Adults 18+ only please.
  • Join the Will Rogers Square Dance Club on the first and third Tuesday of every month, 7:30 p.m. at the Claremore American Legion, for square and line dancing fun. For more information call Ellen and Tom Brewer at 918-630-0797 or Don and Dell Williams at 918-520-7890.
  • Lego Club is for children ages 10-14 who love to use their imaginations to read and build! Meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm in the library's Multipurpose Room.
  • Learn the art of Beekeeping! Meetings are the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Experienced beekeepers and curious beginners welcome from 6-7 p.m. at Will Rogers Library.
  • Inola Neighborgood Outreach at the Senior Center from 6-8 p.m. All are welcome to come enjoy cookies, coffee and door prizes.
  • Enjoy a picnic in the Teaching Garden at Will Rogers Park every weekday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. weather permitting.

Wednesday, June 19

  • Join the Will Rogers Library for story time. Baby story time, for children 0-3 and parents, features rhymes and songs from 9:30-10 a.m. Story time for ages 3-5 runs from 10-10:30 a.m.
  • Claremore Visual Support Group will meet June 19 at the Community Center, 2301 N. Sioux, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.. A light lunch will be provided. The speaker will be Tricia Lemaster, Pelivan Administrator. If you have any questions call LaVinda Bolton at 918-576-4752. Sponsored by Oklahoma D.R.S.

Thursday, June 20

  • The 2019 Claremore Hall of Fame induction ceremony and banquet will be at the Claremore Expo Center. Reception begins at 5:30 p.m., doors open at 6 p.m., and induction ceremony begins at 6:45 p.m.
  • Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell will serve as the keynote speaker at the Green Country Marketing Association annual meeting being held at 320 on Main. The meeting is 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and is open to the public.

Friday, June 21

  • Rummage and bake sale at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 1310 N. Sioux Ave. June 21 and 22, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with books, craft items, baked goods, etc.
  • Route 66 Development Seminar hosted by Claremore Collective. The public is welcome to attend this seminar, which includes sessions on local development and tourism opportunities and a keynote address from Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell and Route 66 Alliance Director Ken Busby. Seminar is scheduled for 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Melton Gallery.

  • Start your engines! Your lawn mower engines, that is, because you need to get down to the Will Rogers Downs for the 2019 Midwest Mowfest presented by the OK Mower Racing on June 21st and 22nd! The schedule for Friday & Saturday will take place as follows: Registration and tech will take place from 10 a.m. - noon, there will be a drivers meeting from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m., heat races will begin at 3 p.m. and the feature races will begin at 6p.m.
