A 79-year old woman is in critical condition after being pinned in her vehicle during a collision Monday.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the incident took place on 155th East Avenue and 96th Street North, roughly half a mile east of Owasso in Rogers County.
OHP records show the woman was driving a 2000 Ford F150 north on 155th east Avenue and swerved off the road.
The vehicle struck a culvert, then collided into a gas meter, pinning the driver inside the vehicle, according to OHP.
Owasso Fire Department, using extrication tools, freed the woman who was then transported to an area hospital and admitted in critical condition.
OHP says the cause of collision is under investigation.
