Despite the challenging economic climate, our community is experiencing growth. Over the past year, we have welcomed national retailers, announced new residential development, and witnessed exciting expansion in our industrial sector.

Claremore’s central location, short commute times, and reasonable tax and regulatory environment make it a prime candidate for business growth and expansion. We actively partner with the Claremore Industrial and Economic Development (CIEDA) to ensure our community provides business with the infrastructure, talent pipeline, and pro-business environment needed for success.

This week Claremore celebrated the exciting announcement of a new manufacturing addition to the Claremore Industrial Park. Lufkin Industries is a global leader in producing precision-engineered oilfield equipment, products, and services. The new Claremore campus will serve as a manufacturing center for the organization’s rod pumping systems. The company plans to bring more than 70 high-skilled jobs to Claremore and surrounding areas and is actively recruiting for various positions.

The fact that global leaders, such as Lufkin Industries, continue to choose Claremore as a location for their facilities is a true testament to our city’s willingness and commitment to help businesses achieve their greatest potential.

As we look to 2022, the City of Claremore remains committed to being a resource for local businesses across various sectors. In partnership with CIEDA, the Claremore Chamber of Commerce and other partner organizations, our mission is to successfully promote and market Rogers County as the premier place to live, work and do business. Our goal is to ensure companies and the individuals they employ find success in our community.

If there is anything myself or our team can ever do to assist your business, please do not hesitate to reach out. We are here and ready to help!

Stay warm this weekend, Claremore!

All my best,

John W. Feary
