Dear Rogers County Citizens,

Your generous donations to the “Rogers County School Supply Program” have helped provide free school supplies to needy public school children throughout the county. In the 2018-2019 school year, 2,825 students received required supplies for a total cost $41,984.64. The school supply drive begins August 1st and runs through August 21st. Since both the number of needy children and the cost of goods increase every year, we have set our 2019-2020 budget goal at $47,000. We won’t have the funds when we order, but for 21 years God has supplied them before the bills come due. It is funded by contributions from our church members as well as other area churches, businesses, civic organizations and individuals. In order for the church to continue this program for 2019-2020, and we need your continued support. We would appreciate your help and hope you believe, as we at Claremore FUMC do, that one of the best investments we can make is in the education of our children because THEY ARE OUR FUTURE! When you give to this program, be assured that every penny goes to buy school supplies. If you can give, please make your checks payable to the First United Methodist Church with a notation in the memo line “School Supplies.” Thank you for giving school supplies to needy Rogers County children.
