Week 70 begins with Jesus opening the first seal on the scroll containing the title deed to the earth.

As Jesus opened the seal the voice of one of the four living creatures proclaimed loudly:

“‘Come and see.’ And I (John) looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.” Revelation 6:1

Having a bow brings to mind the half-brother of Isaac who became an expert archer. The fact that the rider does not have arrows indicates that he will offer a pseudo peace to the world with no blood shed.

The angel of the Lord had previously summed up the character of the rider.

“He shall be a wild man; his hand shall be against every man, and every man’s hand against him…” Genesis16:12

The term ‘wild man’ is from the Hebrew word onager which is a wild donkey.

“He scorns the tumult of the city; he does not heed the shouts of the driver.” Job 39:7

The rider was given a crown due to his prowess in diplomacy. Force would not be required. He will be admired by all.

As previously reported, the rider on the white horse will draft a covenant lasting seven years with the major players being in Europe and the area surrounding Israel.

It all appears to be going well for three and a half years, than all hell will break loose. At the midpoint of the seven years, the leader with diplomacy will enter the temple in Jerusalem and proclaim to be God.

“And the dragon stood on the sand of the seashore. Then I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads and on his horns ten diadems (crowns), and on his heads were blasphemous names.” Revelation 13:1

The dragon is Satan. He is standing before the nations of the world and bringing up a powerful demon out of the sea (abyss) to possess and empower the beast, i.e. the anti-Christ.

The ten horns are the final ten nation confederation ruled by ten kings who give their loyalty to the anti-Christ.

The seven heads represent the seven gentile world kingdoms throughout history beginning with Egypt and ending with the revived Roman Empire ruled by the anti-Christ under the direction of Satan.

The sum of the matter is that the whole world will worship the dragon.

“So they worshiped the dragon who gave authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, ‘Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?’” Revelation 13:4

Satan empowers the beast to speak great blasphemous things against the Most Holy and His people.

“And he (the beast) was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.” Revelation 13:5

During the last half of the seven year period there will be billions of people killed.

“Now I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war…Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations…” Revelation 19:11, 15

Then an angel calls all the birds to eat the flesh of the fallen.

“Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet…These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.” Revelation 19:20

The rest of the army of the beast will be slain and the birds filled with their flesh.

Thus the Seed of the woman will slay the beast, who was the seed of the devil.

Let’s go from the last book in the Bible back to the first book in the Bible.

Recall that Satan was cursed after he deceived Eve in the garden. God said:

“Because you have done this…I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.” Genesis 3:14a, 15

And so it will be.
