The 2018 Rogers County Fair will kick off Thursday, Sept. 13, with a magnificent fireworks display on the hill, announced the Rogers County Fair Board Tuesday.
The fair will take place September 13-16 in and around the Claremore Expo Center where guests can meander around the tens of thousands of booths; play classic carnival games; ride state fair quality rides and enjoy all the delicious fair food they can imagine.
For youngsters the Lil’ Buckaroo Barnyard will have Dustin the Balloon Guy doing balloons and magic acts, a pumpkin patch complete with pumpkin themed games and the Monster Mural, complete with space for every Lil’ Buckaroo to color!
Ride tickets can be purchased individual or with day-long wristbands. The Cantina will be full of music and fun for adults 21+ to enjoy each night of the fair.
There will also be a photo contest, open to anyone, of photos taken at the fair. To submit, upload your photo to Facebook and tag it with the hashtag #rcfcontest2018 by midnight on Saturday, September 15. First prize is $100, second is $50, third is $25.
And don’t forget to stop by all of the 4-H, FFA, archery and livestock events to cheer on your Rogers County AG kids.
