The Rogers State women's golf team had four members recently named to the MIAA Women's Golf Honor Roll.
Sophomore Raquel Flores, a business administration major, holds a GPA of 3.96 to lead the list for the Hillcats. Junior Jessica Green, who is also a business administration major, holds a 3.79 GPA to join the list.
Seniors Sydney Murray and Mariana Flores also earned Honor Roll recognition. Murray holds a GPA of 3.78 in the allied health-pre athletic training major and Flores holds a 3.49 GPA in psychology.
To be recognized on the Academic Honor Roll, one must have a grade point average used by the institution for purposes of NCAA academic certification of 3.00 at the certifying member institution. The individual must also have at least two terms of attendance at the certifying member institution, excluding summer terms.
The 2019-20 season was shortened when the NCAA canceled all spring championships on March 12 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Hillcats look forward to next year as they prep for their second year in the MIAA.
