In the early hours Wednesday morning, following a seven-hour meeting, the Oologah-Talala Board of Education voted 3-2 to dismiss head football coach Chase Kime following allegations of inappropriate behavior by the coach toward a student.

Kime, who took over the head coaching duties after Brandon Craig resigned following last season, will no longer coach or be employed at the school.

The coach was allegedly video-taped inappropriately touching a female student, which was later reviewed by Oologah School Superintendent Max Tanner. He initiated the process of Kime's removal.

Kime had been a longtime teacher and assistant coach at Oologah.
